This is not a hotel as advertised but a group rooms in an apartment building run as a B&B. It is very affordable accommodation in a quiet part of Rome that was convenient for our family (all over 18 years old) to reach the attractions of room. The only place we took a taxi to was the Vatican because it was quite a distance away. The place we stayed in had a queen bed and then another bedroom with two twin beds and a bathroom. I can see how it would be a little tricky to check in in off hours but they were accommodating for us to check in after arriving on an overnight flight. The lady who ran the desk was pleasant and kind.. The room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend based on our situation and experience.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Rome - An intimate B&B experience that perfectly captures Roman charm This delightful accommodation operates as a boutique B&B within a traditional Roman apartment building, offering an authentic alternative to conventional hotels at remarkably reasonable rates. The property strikes that coveted balance—centrally located yet peacefully tucked away on a tree-lined street that feels like a local secret. Location: Unbeatable The position couldn't be more perfect. Rome's historic center unfolds just a 10-minute stroll away, placing iconic sights like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, and Pantheon within easy walking distance. For solo travelers, particularly women, the quiet residential street feels remarkably safe even after dark. The neighborhood pulses with authentic Roman life: a supermarket sits just 50 meters away, while the tree-shaded street hosts several excellent restaurants, including a Michelin-starred establishment, plus charming wine bars. The Host Makes the Difference Monica, the proprietor, exemplifies Italian hospitality. Her genuine warmth and local expertise—from navigation tips to insider recommendations—transform a simple stay into a personalized Roman experience. The Accommodations While compact, the rooms maximize every inch with thoughtful design. Mine featured pristine linens, quality toiletries, tasteful décor, and a particularly charming window seat overlooking verdant tree canopies. Daily amenities included fresh coffee and wine glasses—perfect for enjoying a bottle from the nearby market on your private perch. The Roman Experience The vintage elevator provides its own slice of old-world character, complete with the satisfying clunk and whir that speaks to Rome's layered history. Walking becomes a pleasure here; the 20-minute stroll to major attractions unfolds through streets so architecturally stunning that the journey rivals the destination. Practical Notes While the Metro connects to Vatican City, expect crowds and remain vigilant with belongings. However, walking remains the superior option—Rome reveals its secrets to those who explore on foot. Bottom Line This B&B delivers exactly what discerning travelers seek: authentic Roman atmosphere, unbeatable location, thoughtful touches, and genuine hospitality, all at exceptional value. For those who appreciate character over corporate polish, this hidden gem provides the perfect base for exploring the Eternal City.

Great value for money! Nice large air-conditioned room with private bathroom. The hotel has only 6 rooms and is located in a building. You have to look carefully at the address to find it as there is no sign. The person there is very, very friendly! I loved her! The room was very clean. We asked that the curtains and the room be vacuumed before we arrived because my daughter is very allergic to dust and it was done really well. Gracie! Located in a beautiful area, right next to a supermarket 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bus from the central station. I highly recommend it.
